Joseph J. Bisogno

Founder of goodcents

Known as a serial entrepreneur, Joe joined the QSR world at McDonald’s. In 1989, Joe opened his first Goodcents restaurant in Lenexa, KS. Today, Goodcents operates more than 65 franchise locations across the United States. True to his entrepreneurial roots, Joe is also the founder of Custom Foods, a leading bread manufacturer, along with Trust Think, an innovator of organic human and animal wellness products. Giving back to the community is important to Joe and inspired the creation of the Goodcents Foundation. As a 501(c)3 charitable organization, the Goodcents Foundation operates with a mission to address food uncertainty, impoverishment, and to create a better quality of life for those lacking resources or the ability for independent living. Additionally, Joe also supports Habitat for Humanity, The Children’s Miracle Network, and the Leukemia Society of America. His favorite sub—all of them.

Laurie Bisogno

Goodcents Foundation Chair

Laurie is a nursing graduate of New York University and still holds an active nursing license. For ten years, she ran her own printing business, which she sold in 2005 and she has never looked back. Today Laurie enjoys being retired and keeping a busy and active schedule. She is an awarded and accomplished master swimmer—competing in meets across the United States. She enjoys traveling and supporting a number of philanthropic programs and has sat on several boards—including the Goodcents Board for ten years. Most recently, Laurie is proud to serve as Chair of the Goodcents Foundation and looks forward to working with the Alzheimer’s Association to help find a cure and improve the lives of those with Alzheimer’s. Her favorite sub is a baloney and Swiss on white.
